I have been so busy the last week or two getting things organised and searching the internet for bargains.
So far I have found some great deals and have:
> booked accommodation in Los Angeles, New York, and London,
> booked a seven night cruise in Alaska,
> purchased a 30 day bus pass for Canada and America,
> hired a car for the UK (scored a fantastic deal from Ryanair)
But more details about all of that when they come up in my itinerary.
I'm still on the lookout for a super relocation mobile home deal to get from Los Angeles to San Francisco. And the next leg of getting to Vancouver for the cruise is still to be booked. But once these two items are taken care off then all major land travel elements have been covered.
Usually I don't prebook much in my travels, but for this trip I want to be able to focus on my travels as they happen, rather than being glued to the internet etc trying to "hunt and gather" accommodation and land travel elements for the next leg of my journey. I'm not sure how much I will enjoy travelling this way, but I will give it a go and at the end of the journey, I can assess whether or not it is a good way to travel.
